Our Mission
Your act of generosity impacts our longevity and how we contribute to our community.
The Elizabeth Hospice, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides medical, emotional, and spiritual support to children and adults facing the challenges of advanced serious illnesses in San Diego and Riverside Counties. We offer personalized care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace to patients, while also supporting families and loved ones through every stage of the journey. Our grief services are available to anyone in the community, including those who have no hospice affiliation. We help to restore hope to those who are experiencing the loss of someone significant in their life.
Since 1978, The Elizabeth Hospice has been a trusted, experienced, community resource touching the lives of more than 160,000 people in the community who need this compassionate care. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and are proud members of the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association and the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation. With a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers, we serve thousands each year, ensuring that everyone facing advanced serious illness or grief has the support they need.
